Hagfors Måleri RT AB
A painting company in Hagfors since 1995, working with painting, flooring, windows and bathrooms across Värmland and Dalarna. The company got a site of its own, a Facebook page of its own and a verified Google profile, with the same details everywhere. See the site in motion below.

What I did
Built the whole site from scratch
Twenty-two pages: the home page, seven service pages, eight location pages, the ROT deduction, references, about us and contact, plus a confirmation page and a custom error page. Static HTML with no framework, so the pages load straight away.
A page of its own for every service
Interior painting, facade painting, window renovation, wallpapering, flooring, floor sanding and bathroom renovation. Every page has at least six hundred words of its own text, questions and answers, and the quote form with the service already ticked.
Eight towns in Värmland and Dalarna
Hagfors, Ekshärad, Munkfors, Sunne, Filipstad, Torsby, Karlstad and Vansbro each got a page of their own with its own text. One search intent per page, so they do not compete with the home page.
A quote form on twenty pages
The customer ticks one or more services and describes the job. The enquiry goes to the company's inbox as an email in the site's style, the customer gets an auto-reply and lands on a confirmation page.
The ROT deduction worked out on the page
A page of its own about ROT, the Swedish tax deduction on renovation labour, with a calculator based on the 2026 rules: thirty per cent of the labour cost, up to fifty thousand kronor per person per year.
All the old addresses lead to the right place
Every address from the old site redirects to the right new page, so links, bookmarks and everything Google already knew about keep working.
Verified the Google Business Profile
Created the profile and verified it. Then categories, services and the service area across Värmland and Dalarna, the logo and photos, and name, address and phone exactly as on the site.
A Facebook page of its own
A new page in the company's own name, with the logo as the profile picture, a cover photo and the same name, address and phone as the site and the Google profile, plus a link to the site. The page is linked from the footer on every page and from the contact page.
What happened
Before
An older WordPress site where the painting business shared space with a paint shop the company no longer belongs to. Facebook and Instagram carried the shop's name.
The choice
The company got an identity of its own, separate from the shop: a site, a Facebook page and a Google profile with the same name, address and phone. The site links to the profile and the page, and both link back to the site. That way both customers and Google see one and the same company.
After
Twenty pages on the client's own domain that Google can index, eight towns across Värmland and Dalarna, and every old address leads to the right place. The nine pages I measured in Lighthouse scored 99 to 100 in performance on mobile, 100 on desktop and 100 in Accessibility, Best Practices and SEO.
Three choices that shaped the site
Services as colour swatches
Every service has its own colour, and the card looks like a colour swatch with four shades. The colour follows the service all the way to the form, where the choice is filled with the same colour. A painter recognizes a colour chart.
Towns with road distances
The service area is laid out as a map in rows: a photo of the town, the job the company did there and the distance by road from Hagfors, which is marked as the base. The customer sees straight away that the town is within reach.
The same foundation as Bollnäs El
The structure builds on the site I built for Bollnäs El: daylight, white cards and photo windows. The rest comes from Hagfors' own logo. The carmine in the emblem is the only accent colour, and a strip of seven colours runs along the photos and the footer.
Why the site looks the way it does
Hagfors Måleri takes jobs across Värmland and Dalarna, and customers usually start with a search for the service and the town. So every service and every town got a page of its own, and the Google profile and the Facebook page say the same thing as the site. I've written more about why those parts belong together over in Insights.
